Students and parents toted signs and shouted cheerful thank yous to parents dropping off children at Oak Knoll School this morning, part of the Donation Day festivities sponsored by the Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation (MPAEF) that are being held at all the city’s schools today.

According to the organization’s website: “Your support helps bridge the gap between available public funding for our schools and what is necessary to provide the quality education our kids deserve and we expect. Your gift on or before Donation Day will automatically enter you into a drawing to win fabulous prizes, donated by members of the community, like lunch with your principal, preferred parking at special school events, gift certificates, and more!”

You can donate online or mail your gift to MPAEF at P.O. Box 584, Menlo Park, CA 94026.
