Come for the pancakes and stay for the fun at the 10th annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 2, sponsored by the Junior League of Palo Alto-Mid Peninsula, the Menlo Park Fire Protection District and the Stanford Park Hotel. In addition to pancakes cooked to perfection by Menlo Park firefighters, the event will feature a variety of children’s activities, including face painting, arts and crafts, and tours of Menlo Park’s antique fire engines. Project Read Menlo Park adult learners and tutors will be assisting with the festivities.
The breakfast benefits the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. Suggested donation is $10 for adults; $5 for children. Pancakes will be served from 7:30 to 11:00 am at Fire House Station 1, 300 Middlefield Road in Menlo Park.
