Beauty of the Golden State on display at Portola Art Gallery

California Harvest – a group exhibition featuring works that celebrate the beauty of the Golden State – is on display at the Portola Art Gallery at the Allied Arts Guild. The works of eight Bay Area artists – paintings, pastels and photography – will highlight local scenes and colors of the season. Artists include Steve Curl, Frances Freyberg, Marsha Heimbecker, Alan McGee, Julia Seelos, Mary Stahl, Barbara von Haunalter, and Alice Weil. There will be a reception for the artists on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm

The last day of the exhibit coincides with the Allied Arts Guild’s second annual Harvest Fest, taking place Saturday, Oct. 30, from 11:00 am. to 4:00 pm. Harvest Fest will include beer tasting, seasonal food, live entertainment and activities for the entire family. For more information and reservations, please call (650)322-2405.
