The Baroque Micro-Orchestra is performing Sunday, Oct. 10 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Bede’s Church in Menlo Park with its brand of never-a-dull-moment music. Playing together since  1974, the husband/wife team of Jonathan Salzedo (harpsichord)  and Marion Rubenstein (recorder), who are co-founders of The Albany Consort, still haven’t outgrown their “what if we did it like this” attitude. Each appearance offers new twists in the works of the old masters, proving that the 18th century was never more alive than it is today.

Joining them on Sunday are Carol Panofsky (recorder), Rachel Hurwitz, Daria D’Andrea, Laura Rubinstein-Salzedo, Daria D’Andrea and Ondine Young (violas), Amy Brodo (cello) and Farley Pearce (violone). The program includes J.S. Bach – Harpsichord Concerto in D minor; Vivaldi – La Notte; Handel – Trio Sonata; Corelli & Muffat – Concerto Gross.

Cost is $15, $10 (seniors and students), $5 for under 12. St. Bede’s is located at 2650 Sand Hill Road.
