St Raymond Pumpkin Festival 2010 in Menlo Park, CA

There are activities for kids of all ages at the St. Raymond Pumpkin Festival, which continues through 6:00 pm today (10/23). The ponies are sized just right for the preschool set while the climbing wall challenges grade school kids. There is also a pumpkin patch, face painting, carnival games, an inflatable slide and a bouncy house. St. Raymond School is located on Arbor Rd. between Santa Cruz Ave. and Valparaiso.

So great that St. Raymond’s had a pumpkin festival, but it’s disturbing to see the pony rides. I feel bad for those animals and it seems, well, old school, not progressive and a bit cruel.
