Race to Nowhere

Trinity Church invites the Menlo Park community to a screening of the award-winning documentary Race to Nowhere on Tuesday, March 29. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the show starts at 7:00 pm, followed by a facilitated discussion. Tickets are $10.00 in advance or $15.00 at the door.

What’s the film about? A concerned mother turned filmmaker aims her camera at the high-stakes, high-pressure culture that has invaded our schools and our children’s lives. Race to Nowhere points to the silent epidemic in our schools: commonplace cheating, disengaged students, and rampant stress-related illness and depression. The result, many young people arrive at college and the workplace unprepared.

Trinity Church is located at 330 Ravenswood Avenue in Menlo Park. Childcare is available for children under 10 years old by reservation only – contact office@trinitymenlopark.org.
