This weekend (May 7-8) dozens of local artists are holding open studios at locations throughout Menlo Park and Atherton, all part of Silicon Valley Open Studios.

One Menlo Park location, 865 Partridge Ave., features the work of two Menlo-based artists, painter Alice Weil and photographer Frances Freyberg. The latter will be donating all profits from this weekend’s sales to Mission Hospice in support of patients who cannot afford hospice care. The hours are from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm this weekend; this location will also be open the following weekend, May 14-15.

Among Atherton locations is a group show at Holbrook-Palmer Park (Garden Room of the main house), 150 Watkins Ave. One of the featured artists there is Atherton resident Annette Tan.

You can find additional locations or search forindividual artists by accessing the SVOS online directory.
