Spotted: Hillview School band practicing for its annual appearance at Giants game

For the 13th consecutive year, the Hillview School band will be performing the National Anthem before the Giants play the Nationals on Monday night, June 6 at AT&T Park. They’ll be joined by the La Entrada and Menlo-Atherton bands. Band leader Richard Vaughan also invited parents, relatives, neighbors, and friends who plays a band instrument to  join the band for its appearance. “After all, the more the merrier” said Vaughn. “The only stipulation is that then can actually play – no kazoos, please!” InMenlo spotted the Hillview Band, joined by some adults, in a solo rehearsal last week on the school campus.
