Bayer Ballet Company

The Bayer Ballet Company is performing Spring Novelettes at the Menlo Atherton Performing Arts Center on Sunday, June 12. Performances are at 1:00 and 4:00 pm.

The program includes variations from La Bayadère (The Temple Dancer), Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Paquita, The Talisman, La fille mal gardée, Sylvia (ou La nymphe de Diane), and more, as well as lively folk-inspired Russian and Moldavian (character) dances. For young children, there will be Little Red Riding Hood, an original mini-story ballet with an unusual retelling of this classic fairy tale.

Professional dancers – including Maykel Solas, a principal at Ballet San Jose – will join Bayer Ballet’s youth company and students. Tickets are $20.
