Dr. Tara Rolle is the new Principal of St. Raymond School. She comes to St. Raymond from Moreau Catholic High School where she was Assistant Principal and Director of Admissions. Born and raised locally in Atherton, she received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Administration & Policy from Pepperdine University, a Masters in Educational Leadership from Santa Clara University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (education) from UCLA.

Dr. Rolle is beginning the school year by further integrating technology into the classrooms to complement the rigorous academic program and increasing professional development for teachers. Every classroom at St. Raymond School already contains a SmartBoard. The upper grades and middle school students will also be continuing the 1:1 laptop experience in the classrooms.

“Catholic education is fundamentally important because it aims to educate the whole student – heart and mind,” said Dr. Rolle. “In a world where our children are being inundated with messages that may or may not align with our values, creating a community where we call ourselves back to compassion, kindness and service is imperative. It is for this reason, among many others, that I believe passionately in serving as a Catholic educator for our next generation of world leaders and decision makers.”

St. Raymond School has been providing a quality Catholic education (JK-8) to the Menlo Park community since 1954.
