The community is invited to a meeting on Thursday, Sept. 8 to discuss and imagine the new Atherton library. The meeting will take place from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Pavilion in Holbrook-Palmer Park in Atherton — drop in anytime to learn, converse, and explore the possibilities.
The evening will include brief informational presentations of findings by a number of experts (approximately 30 minutes), followed by the opportunity to ask questions at open-house style tables-each dedicated to a different project main topic. Refreshments will be served, and the open house format will encourage people to gravitate to their areas of interest and support personal exchanges of ideas.
If you are unable to attend this meeting and are interested in further information about the project, you are encouraged to visit either the Town website or the Library website or attend any of the Atherton Library Building Steering Committee (ALBSC) meetings as indicated on the Atherton Town website.
You are also welcome to contact Denise Kupperman, ALBSC Chair, at 650-326-2265 or Carine Risley, Atherton Library Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you wish to set up a neighborhood or other group meeting to discuss the new library, please contact Denise or Carine.
