Local artists are invited to participate in the third annual “Images of Menlo” plein air art event on Menlo College’s campus. The event will span two weekends:  September 24 and 25, and October 1 and 2. Each day will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This year there is no charge for Menlo College students, faculty, staff members, alumni, or artists in the community who would like to participate in the event. Organizers ask that participants register online by September 23.

Artists may draw or paint images of the campus on any (or all) of the four days. They must bring their own supplies. One or multiple works of campus scenes may be submitted to the “Images of Menlo” exhibition. The works will be included in a group show that is judged by a panel. (Artists must be registered to be eligible.) The winning first- and second-place artists will be invited to participate in a show highlighting their works after the group show.

The “Images of Menlo” exhibition will be displayed in the Administration Building opening the week of October 15. A reception will be held on November 3 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
