More Christmas festivities happening around Menlo

The Ladera Country Shopper in the unincorporated area  of Menlo Park held festivities today with a decidedly, well, country bent. The Portola Valley-based bluegrass band Windy Hill was on hand to provide music, and cowboy artist Christina Holmes was spotted painting kids’ faces. Of course, Santa was there too, perched not on some fancy chair, but on a sturdy Western-feeling bench.
