The two art galleries, Viewpoints and Gallery 9, may be in Los Altos, but they’re currently filled to the brim with artists from Menlo Park and Atherton.

In a joint show called Local Color, the works of Menlo artists Cherise Thompson and Joyce Savre are at Gallery 9. Diana Jaye, also of Menlo, is joined by Atherton artist Susan Hall as well as Andy Brown of Portola at Viewpoints.

The exhibit at Viewpoints starts today (1/11) and continues through Feb. 25. The exhibit at Gallery 9 runs until Jan. 28. Both galleries will host receptions to meet the artists on Thursday,  Jan. 19, from 4:oo to 6:30 pm. The venues are a short stroll from each other, Gallery 9 on Main St. to State St. where Viewpoints is located, both in downtown Los Altos.
