Christina Holmes watercolor paintings at Konditorei

We were out at Ladera shopping center for lunch today and spotted Menlo Park artist Christina Holmes’ watercolors on display at Konditorei, where they can be viewed through the end of the month.

Most of Christina’s watercolors feature cowboys, horses and rodeos — a surprising twist for a person raised in Warwickshire, England.

Given the number of horses housed near Ladera, the shopping center seems a ideal place to show off her talents. She’ll move her watercolors a couple of storefronts away to Allegra Framing in February and then will do a solo show that’s a sneak peak of the work she’s preparing for the annual Cowgirl Up exhibit at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum in March.
