Harpsichordist Richard Egarr performs with and conducts the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 8:00 pm at the Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center. There’s a pre-concert talk with John Prescott at 7:15.

Titled Masters of the English Baroque, the program includes “a blend of works from native sons Matthew Locke, Henry Purcell, Thomas Arne, and William Lawes flanked by examples from England’s beloved imported son, George Frideric Handel.”

Tickets cost $25 to $85 and can be purchased online.
