Menlowe Ballet is presenting Double Happiness on March 16  and 17 as part of its spring season at Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts .

“We are so encouraged and grateful for the warm reception we received from both audiences and critics for our debut last year,” says Artistic Director Michael Lowe. “With our upcoming season, I am excited to bring back to the stage one of my favorite cultural works, Double Happiness. This ballet was inspired by the Chinese symbol of double happiness, and offers a peek into the eastern meaning of the spiritual and emotional joining of two souls.”

Guest artists Amy Briones and Peter Hershey of Ballet San Jose will appear in Double Happiness. Students from the Menlo Park Academy of Dance will also be featured. Tickets are available online or via phone at 650-903-6000.
