The City of Menlo Park and the Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA) are co-sponsoring a free water efficient landscaping class titled “Use of California Native Plants in the Landscape” on Saturday, Mar. 10, from 9:00 am to noon at the Menlo Park City Council Chambers. Attendees will learn how to beautify their garden while making it more water-efficient. The workshop will benefit many homeowners since lawns and gardens consume almost half the total water use of an average home.

Registration is required. Class size is limited. To register, please contact BAWSCA at 650-349-3000. Be certain to specify the class date, time and location and provide your name, address and telephone number. Online registration is also available.
