101 highway closed through Menlo Park overnight

by Linda Hubbard Gulker on March 7, 2012

Drivers going southbound on 101 from midnight to 4:00 am on March 8 and northbound during the same hours on March 9 will encounter detours due to Caltrans work that is closing the freeway. The closures will allow work crews to remove falsework — a temporary structure that supports the components of a bridge during construction — on the Ringwood Pedestrian Overcrossing.

Southbound traffic will exit westbound on Marsh Road, southbound to Middlefield Road, eastbound on Willow Avenue back onto southbound 101. Northbound traffic will exit eastbound Willow Avenue, northbound to Route 84, westbound Marsh Road, back onto northbound 101.
