Overnight showers yielded to a mixture of mist and sunshine today, the perfect conditions to spot a rainbow (which we didn’t do!). Reports InMenlo watcher Bill Russ: “The precipitation added another .1″. The seasonal total is now 6.25″ compared to 14.45″ the same date last year.”

The forecast is for continued rainy conditions through the weekend, accompanied by lower temperatures, which could result in a dusting of snow on the Bay Area’s higher peaks.
