Girl with giant Easter eggs at Menlo Park Easter egg hunt

Under a bright blue, sunny sky, Menlo Park hosted its annual Easter egg hunt this morning at Burgess Park. To the delight of parents and children, there was the usual roster of fun activities — photos opportunities with the Easter bunny and a pair of giant eggs, mask making and coloring, rides on Old Tom the fire truck and, of course, the chase for the eggs, separated by age group. The rules of the hunt — no running and four eggs per kid — were, as usual, often ignored, although many parents gamely tried to throw some eggs back on the grass after their over-anxious offspring exceeded the limit.
