Menlo Park Library summer reading program is for adults, too

by Michelle Burnham on June 25, 2012

Menlo Park Library’s Summer Reading Program isn’t just for kids and teens. Adults can join in and sign up, too. Every adult who registers and meets the goal of reading three books this summer can come in to pick up a free book, and will automatically be entered into a raffle. All of the raffle prizes are generously provided by the Friends of the Library with funds raised through the sale of books, CD’s, and DVD’s donated to the library. The prizes are all gift certificates to Menlo Park stores and restaurants, which have been chosen as a way of building community, fostering partnership between the library and local businesses, and putting the money raised through book donations back into our community. Registration is simple and can be found online.
