Kuk Sool Won of Menlo Park raising money for scholarships on Sept. 22

Kuk Sool Won of Menlo Park is hosting a mini-carnival as a combined celebration of its 10th Anniversary in Menlo Park and a fund-raiser for its scholarship program, which helps low-income families take classes. The event is taking place on Saturday, Sept. 22. from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center in Burgess Park. Admission is free, and there will be free demonstrations and a cyber-bullying workshop. Tickets will be sold  to play carnival games, go into the Bounce House and try to dunk instructors who teach the martial arts technique.

The Cyberbullying workshop will be at 2:30 pm. We’ll also have free introductory lessons at 12:00 and 2:00 pm. In addition to the festivities, we’re holding a silent auction and bake sale. The Mogo BBQ food truck will
be on hand if you get hungry!

We’d love to see our neighbors and get a chance to know you all better. Come drop by!
