Holiday train arrives in Menlo Park The Caltrain Holiday Train returns to Menlo Park for the first time in two years on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 7:45 pm, with sponsorship provided by the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. The show train features snowmen, giant Teddy bears, singing carolers - and of course, Santa Claus - set amidst 60,000 glittering lights. Since first being held in 2001, this free family event has distributed more than 45,000 gifts to thousands of local children who would otherwise be forgotten at this time of year. Attendees are encouraged to bring an unwrapped present to the station for this year's gift drive. Photo by Chris Gulker (2009)
