rainy_windsheildThe year closed out under bright blue skies, once again. Emailed InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ:

“Oh my, only 2.2” of rain fell in the initial six months of the rain year, which began on July 1, 2013 and will end on June 30, 2014.

“In terms of calendar 2013 my total was 4.05″ — a truly drought total. I’m hoping for lots of rainfall reports in the next six months.”
