Tickets on sale for March 2 concert/fundraiser featuring Joan Baez and Bella Sorella

A fundraising concert featuring Joan Baez and Bella Sorella in support of the Peninsula College Fund (PCF) is set for March 2, 2013 at the Homer Center at Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atherton. The evening begins with a wine and hor d’oeuvres reception at 6:00 pm, followed at 7:30 by the concert. Tickets can be purchased online.

PCF, which was founded by Menlo Park resident Charles Schmuck, assists low-income, underserved, and often overlooked first-generation college students from the Mid-Peninsula in their quest to graduate from college, and helps them achieve their education and career goals. Menlo-Atherton High School class of 2012 grads Diana Lopez Solorzano and Cristian Diaz were among the recipients last year.
