League of Women voters hosts various local candidate forums in advance of November election

As part of its ongoing non-partisan mission to educate voters on issues and candidates, the League of Women Voters South San Mateo County organizes and hosts candidate forums, which provide an opportunity to meet the candidates and become familiar with the issues in the upcoming election. Written questions will be accepted from the audience. Candidate forums include:

  • October 3: Sequoia Union High School District, Birch Conference Room, 480 James Ave, Redwood City, 7:00 to 8:30 pm
  • October 8 Portola Valley Town Council, Historic Schoolhouse, 765 Portola Road, Portola Valley, 7:00 to 8:30 pm
  • October 15: Atherton City Council, The Pavilion at Holbrook Palmer Park, 150 Watkins Ave., Atherton, 7:00 to 8:30 pm
