Menlo Park small business roundtable set for April 21

Menlo Park Mayor Ray Mueller and the Office of Economic Development (OED) invite all small business owners  in the city to attend the inaugural Small Business Round Table on April 21, 2014, 6:00 pm at City Hall.

This Round Table, the first of what will be quarterly meetings with the small business community, will provide an informal forum for communication and brain storming solutions for the problems these owners face. Small businesses are a vital part of the local economy because their success enhances the fabric of community by providing jobs, tax revenue and the continued fiscal stability necessary to deliver high quality-services that all our residents deserve.

“I want the Small Business Round Table to be an opportunity for small business owners to express to the City what challenges they are facing, where they need help, and what opportunities they believe exist to create an economic atmosphere that supports thriving creativity, innovation, and ultimately first class services for our residents,” said  Mueller. “I look forward to exploring new ways the city can work collaboratively with our small business owners with regards to this important work.”
