InnVision Shelter Network (IVSN), a provider of housing and supportive services for homeless families and individuals on the Peninsula and in Silicon Valley, will host its annual Benefit Breakfast on Thursday, October 9th from 7:30 to 9:00 am at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Burlingame.
This year’s event program will include a keynote address by Emmy Award winning host, actor, singer, and author Regis Philbin. Since Philbin first stepped in front of the camera more than 50 years ago, he has become a noted and celebrated entertainment figure. Philbin has won many awards, including Emmys for his work on LIVE! with Regis and Kelly and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, a TV Guide Award as Personality of the Year, and a Broadcasting & Cable Lifetime Achievement Award.
In addition to his many accomplishments in the world of entertainment, Philbin is also a noted supporter of organizations that address homelessness and provide veteran and service member support.
“Regis is such a talented performer with an incredibly rich and storied career and commitment to philanthropy,” says InnVision Shelter Network CEO Karae Lisle. “We are delighted to have him attend our event and entertain as well as inspire our audience.”
The Benefit Breakfast program will also feature Master of Ceremonies and FOX Sports anchor Ted Robinson, remarks from IVSN’s CEO Karae Lisle, award presentations to outstanding volunteers and supporters, and a testimonial by a client of one of IVSN’s shelters.
IVSN’s Annual Benefit Breakfast is the largest event of its kind on the San Francisco Peninsula. Event sponsorships and day-of donations help fund IVSN’s housing programs and supportive services for homeless men, women, and children.
