Over 800 people attended the perennially popular Pancake Breakfast at the Menlo Park Fire District Headquarters last Saturday (Oct. 4). The event, co-sponsored by the Junior League of Palo Alto•Mid Peninsula (JLPA•MP), the Menlo Park Fire District, the Stanford Park Hotel, and the Menlo Grill Bistro & Bar, raised $9,000 for the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. All the extra food was donated to St. Anthony’s Padua Dining Room.

In addition to feasting on pancakes, attendees got the opportunity to see the fire trucks and equipment up close, watch a rescue demonstration, and learn how to properly extinguish a kitchen pan fire.
