Willy Wonka is Hillview Middle School spring musical March 19, 20 & 21

Hillview Middle School Drama’s spring musical theatre is a production of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka based on his beloved children’s book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Explains the school website: “This is a magical romp through childhood, adversity and amazing good fortune full of bubbles, candy and snow. This whimsical, fun-filled show is entertaining for the whole family, especially youngsters and the young at heart.”

Some of the leads are double cast, and there are over 40 actors plus a technical crew of 16 and nine musicians.

The musical is about two hours long with one 15 minute intermission. It will be presented on Thursday, March 19 at 3:30 pm, Friday, March 20 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, March 21 at 3:00 and 7:00 pm. Tickets, $10 for students and $15 for adults, are available at the door or online.
