First real rain of the season falls on Menlo Park

by Linda Hubbard on November 2, 2015

The rain started overnight and picked up steam during the morning commute. By 11:00 am, the clouds were breaking up and the sun was peeking through. Reports InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ: “1.2” in this latest storm. That is 1.3″ season-to-date, comparing to one inch the same date in 2014.”

This has been my first year outside the California drought weather since I was 5. I moved to Florida about an hour away from Orlando – funny going from praying for rain to hearing “hurricane “insert name” is approaching….I thought to myself – God, dump the hurricane on California – problem solved!
