Drizzle makes for a soggy Tuesday morning in Menlo Park

Afternoon update: Before the sun broke through, Bill had recorded another .2″, making the season-to-date to 6.15″.

The rain — and wind! — overnight yielded to a steady drizzle throughout the morning in Menlo Park, making for a soggy start to the day. Emailed InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ around 7:45 am: “Another .6″ to report. This is a nice surprise to me and brings me to 5.95″ season to date.”
