Spotted: Restrooms being worked on at Jack Lyle Park

by Linda Hubbard on November 18, 2018

Menlo Park has a lot of good parks of various sizes, but most lack restrooms. So it was great news when it was announced that permanent restrooms were coming to Jack Lyle Park on Middle Avenue with a completion date of “early 2019.”

Walking by today, it looked like the prefabricated restrooms may be completed sooner. And the “current status” update on the City’s project page reads: “December 2018 Complete installation.”

According to the City of Menlo Park,  the park is utilized extensively February to June and mid-August to mid-December on weekdays from 4:00 pm to dark and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekends. There are approximately 50 park users per day on weekdays and 400 per day on weekends.
