Spotted: Mailbox that’s an homage to horses

The streets in the Allied Arts neighborhood seems particularly rife with distinctive mailboxes. That may be partially due to the diversity of architecture in the area, ranging from  old wooden bungalows to newly-built mini mansions. One farmhouse style home on Cambridge is set back on the lot with plenty of room for kids to roam in the front yard. According to the owner, that activity can include spur of the moment art projects, such as painting the mailbox. The young girls’ passion for horses is displayed, the result of one “bored” afternoon.
