Get hip, Menlo – the blues come to Fremont Park

Time for Menlo to get funky – or at least try. The third of  Menlo Park’s summer concert series featured Pat Wilder and Serious Business bringing a little blues mixed with R&B to the stage in Fremont Park. As usual, the kids were first up to dance – some sporting balloon hats. And just as usual, the crowd ranged from those who are contemporaries of B.B King to newborn (yep, two were spotted tonight). We couldn’t resist adding the photo of toddler meeting puppy. These weekly concerts are great community events, so come on out next Wednesday at 6:30 pm to hear some 70s funk provided by the Hitmen.
