Back-to-school Spotted: “Crash and burn” on way to Oak Knoll

by Linda Hubbard on August 24, 2010

The parade of walkers and bikes started shortly before 8:00 am this morning as kids and parents made their way to the first day of school at Oak Knoll. The sewer pipeline construction project in the area meant lots of heavy equipment to navigate around. One young bicyclist failed to make a quick turn around the roped off equipment, and his bike came out from under him. Mom quickly circled back to the rescue. The bike and boy got untangled, and they were soon on their way (figures in black in the second photo).
