Expert talks about how to build resilient children and teens

Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg will speak about “Building Resilience in Children and Teens” on Monday, October 4, at 7:00 p.m., at the M-A Performing Arts Center. The free parent education lecture, open to everyone in the community, is the second presented by CAMPUS. Dr. Ginsburg, a pediatrician specializing in Adolescent Medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, is a leading authority on developing resilience in children and adolescents by creating strategies to build upon their inherent strengths. He has identified seven “C”s of resilience, recognizing, he says, that “resilience isn’t a simple, one-part entity.” Seating will be first come, first served, so organizers urge attendees to arrive early.
