MPPD nabs three suspects in Willows burglaries

The Menlo Park Police Investigations Unit announced today the arrest of three suspects, all related to the rash of burglaries in Willows neighborhood. Jesus Lara, 18 years old, of Hayward and East Palo Alto, Victor Esparza, 19 years old, of East Palo Alto and Ricardo Esparza, 18 years old, of East Palo Alto have been arrested and charged with multiple crimes for their involvement in the burglaries. The arrests come after weeks of investigative work on the case. In a press release, the MPPD said: “We encourage our citizens to continue their vigilance in teaming with the police department and call in suspicious activity in their neighborhoods. With the assistance of the community and the police department, we will ensure safe neighborhoods within our city. Anyone with information regarding the investigation or suspects is asked to call Detective Powell at 650-330-6364 or Detective Vasquez at 650-330-6363.”
