Rainfall update: Sunday storm passes through
How about this old fashioned rainy day? There is .35″ of water in my gauge as of 3:30 pm this afternoon. This brings my season to date total to .85″ well.below 4″ at the same time last year. There is water flowing in San Francisquito Creek at the San Mateo foot bridge. The ten Santa Clara water banks are at 51% capacity compared to 68% when the season started on July 1st.
Editor’s note: At 4:30 pm, blues skies were poking through with the late afternoon sunlight spotlighting the still wet leaves of a persimmon tree.
