Dine Out for Meals on Wheels on Tuesday, Nov. 9

You can help feed local homebound seniors by dining out Tuesday, Nov. 9 at a restaurant participating in Dine Out for Meals on Wheels.

The event is organized by the Meals on Wheels organizations in seven Bay Area counties. Combined these organizations provide three million meals each year to over 8,500 seniors. Locally, the Peninsula Volunteers deliver 150,000 meals to seniors in southern San Mateo County.

Participating restaurants will give 10% of their proceeds tomorrow to Meals on Wheels. Menlo Park restaurants are Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria, 880 Santa Cruz Ave.; Bona Restaurant, 651-H Maloney St.; British Bankers Club, 1090 El Camino Real;
Cedro Ristorante Italiano, 1010 El Camino Real #140; Celia’s Mexican Restaurant, 1850 El Camino Real; Duck Club at Stanford Park Hotel, 100 El Camino Real; El Cerrito Mexican Restaurant, 325 Sharon Park Dr., Suite B4; Gambardella’s , 1165 Merrill St.; Lounge at the Park, 100 El Camino Real; Marche, 898 Santa Cruz Ave.; Oak City Bar and Grill, 1029 El Camino Real and Round Table Pizza, 1225 El Camino Real. In addition, there are three restaurants in nearby Portola Valley: Parkside Grille, 884 Portola Road plus Red Lotus and Round Table Pizza, both in the Ladera Shopping Center at  3130 Alpine Rd.
