If you don’t like the weather, wait a minute
While lacking the more drastic swings that can happen in the Midwest, today was a day that had umbrellas up one moment and jackets shedding the next, as the sun and rain clouds played “tag, you’re it” all day. The showers were also highly localized – a real downpour in one small section with dry streets just a couple of blocks away.
Reports InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ: “I was in the driveway at 5:oo am doing exercises and it rained enough to dampen the surface. Then at 9:30 I was driving in downtown and I needed the wipers. Still, not enough in my backyard rain gauges to measure. It is called ‘a trace’.”
