The Revelations of Divine Love at St Bede’s on May 7

St. Bede’s Church in Menlo Park concludes its 2010-11 Performing Arts Series on Saturday, May 7, with The Revelations of Divine Love (Metaphors from Sea and Sky), an oratorio for soprano and baritone soloists, chorus, and chamber orchestra. The music is by Carson P. Cooman, who will be in attendance. Words are by Julian of Norwich and Margery Kempe.

Amy Rufe is the soprano soloist and Daniel-Pickens-Jones is the baritone soloist, accompanied by the choir and orchestra of St. Bede’s conducted by the Rev. Jane McDougle. Tickets for the 7:30 pm performance are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. St. Bede’s is located at 2650 Sand Hill Road.
