The Taming of the Shrew on outdoor stage at Menlo School for two May weekends
Menlo School presents The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare on two May weekends — May 4, 5, and 6 and May 10, 11 and 12. Men and women battle it out to become best friends in this Monty Python-inspired production of one of Shakespeare’s funniest comedies. Everything that could happen does happen, including Bollywood dances, songs, sword fights and flying rubber chickens.
All performances are at 8:00 pm. Dress warmly, pack a picnic, bring your low lawn chairs and blankets to the outdoor stage on Menlo School’s campus. Suitable for all ages and great fun for the whole family.
Tickets — students $7, adults $10 — are available at the Menlo campus bookstore or at the door.
