Spotted: One huge semi truck proclaiming Jesus Christ is Lord, not a swear word

by Linda Hubbard on June 21, 2012

On assignment in the light industrial area of Menlo Park off Marsh Rd. east of  101, we admit to hanging a u-turn after passing a mammoth semi truck emblazoned with the words “Jesus Christ Is Lord Not A Swear Word.” A quick Internet search reveals we are not the first to be stopped in our tracks at the sight of this truck (or its twins). Lots of folks have posted pix on the usual social networks of the trucks as they move about the country.

A second web search took us to the Jesus Christ Is Lord Travel Center which explains: “Jesus Travel Center is owned by Sam Kohli of Sam Kohli Transport. Which is also named Ship with Sam, which is a Montana-based commercial trucking service. The trucking services consist of full truckloads and expedited transportation services throughout the continental United States.”

On Thursday afternoon at least, one of Sam’s truck fleet was taking a rest in Menlo.

Hello!
My wife and I us to see your trucks parked in A Church parking lot at the corner of 59th.Ave and Cactus Rd. in Glendale AZ. But they have been missed for some time now.We were filled with joey each time one was parked there, and hope to see them return. We believe America has lost the Lord . These Trucks keep Jesus in the limelight! “Jesus is Lord,” Lets not forget him.
God Bless
Richard & Sharon

My dream company; my dream truck, if I were still driving!!! My last wish is to be able to drive one of these around Fontana, singing the song: He is Lord! Yes, He is Lord! He is risen from the dead, and He is Lord! Every knee shall bow; and every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord!!!
