Grand Prix cycling comes to Menlo Park on Sunday, July 22

Velo Girls is hosting the seventh edition of the Menlo Park Grand Prix presented by Mike’s Bikes on July 22 at Bohannon Industrial Park in Menlo Park. The full day of racing around a 1.4 mile course is part of the Northern California Nevada Cycling Association BikeReg.com Premier Series, featuring the male and female elite and masters racers in the area. In addition, this year’s race is the NCNCA Masters Women’s State Championship Race, where you can watch the top masters women go head-to-head for the honor of wearing the state champ jersey for the coming year.

In addition to the adult races, there’ll be a Menlo Park Mini Prix, a free fun race for children ages 12. The kids will race at 10:00 am, and every child will receive a medal. Day of race registration begins at  9:30 am.

Spectators are welcome. In addition to the children’s race, there will be bouncy house to keep the kids entertained and half a dozen food trucks offering a variety of tastes.
