New traffic light installed at Santa Cruz Avenue and Elder Avenue in Menlo Park

 The City of Menlo Park, in partnership with the Menlo Park City School District, has just completed the installation and activation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Santa Cruz Avenue and Elder Avenue, near Hillview Middle School. In conjunction with this project, the existing pedestrian traffic signal on Santa Cruz Avenue in front of Hillview Middle School has been removed and deactivated.

During the first week of school at Hillview Middle School, which opens Sept. 4, City staff will be on-site during school drop-off and pick-up times to further fine-tune the new traffic signal’s operations and to address any issues that might occur.
