Concerts at St. Bede’s in Menlo Park on Oct. 20 and Oct. 27

St. Bede’s Church in Menlo Park is hosting two concerts.

Stanford University Organist Robert Huw Morgan (pictured) will perform a program on the church’s newly-restored von Beckerath tracker organ on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 pm. Musical selections include J.S. Bach, Buxtehude, Marchand and Mendelssohn. Tickets are $12/$8 (seniors)/$5 (students).

On Saturday, Oc. 27 at 6:00 pm, the choirs of St. Bede’s & Christ Church, Portola Valley will be performing Bob Chilcott’s Requiem in the context of a worship service for All Soul’s Day. Emails The Rev. Jane McDougle: “Bob Chilcott is an English composer, and an ex-member of the Kings Singers.  His Requiem is a gorgeous piece, accompanied by a small wind ensemble. All are welcome to attend.”

St. Bede’s is located at 2650 Sand Hill Rd. in Menlo Park.
