Safe routes to Oak Knoll School neighborhood meeting on Nov. 7
Neighbors who live near Oak Knoll School, parents of Oak Knoll students, and other interested residents are invited to provide input about safe routes to the school, including encouraging bicycling and walking. The meeting will be held at the school gym on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 7:00 pm.
As background, in 2002, the City of Menlo Park conducted a “Safe Routes to Oak Knoll/Middle Avenue” plan. Since then, several neighborhood improvements have been implemented. In addition, school enrollment increased, school boundaries have changed, and the school has been renovated, including the construction of a new gymnasium.
The purpose of the current project is to update the previous plan. A project page has been created on the City’s website.
