New, free series of entertaining programs coming to MAPAC sponsored by City of Menlo Park
Movie sing-alongs, award-winning children’s music, and vintage rock is coming to the Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center in programs presented by the Menlo Park Community Services Department in partnership with Guggenheim Entertainment.
The movie lineup starts with Grease on Sunday, March 24 followed by Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on July 14th, 2013. Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite movie characters and play along with the movie.
The award-winning Milkshake band, whose mission is to create great rock music for kids, will be coming to the PAC on April 27th, 2013. The band has released four award-winning CDs and has had music videos on Noggin, PBS KIDS, and Discovery Kids’ Emmy-winning ToddWorld.
Mustache Harbor comes to the PAC on June 1st to play some vintage rock music for the “older” kids. Brought together by their astrological signs and sweet “staches”, they will entertain the crowd with some smooth soft rock grooves. All ages welcome, 70’s attire highly suggested, and retro 70’s mustache is included with each ticket purchase.
